Gujarat elections: First phase sees 68%

Over 68 per cent voter turnout was recorded on Saturday in 89 seats in the first phase of assembly polls in Gujarat, even though there were reports of technical glitches in electronic voting machines (EVMs) in Surat and some other centres.
