C Krishniah Chetty Foundation brings – “Bharat Bhagya Vidhata” the mega stage performance & visual treat about Mahatma Gandhi

C Krishniah Chetty Foundation, is bringing a thought provoking stage play- “Bharat Bhagya Vidhata” for Bengaluru audience. To commemorate Mahatma Gandhi’s 150th birth anniversary which coincides with C Krishniah Chetty Group of Jewellers’ Sesquicentennial celebration. ‘Bharat Bhagya Vidhata’- a play that aims to portray the triggers that changed an ordinary Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi to an extraordinary Mahatma Gandhi.

This play assumes a  higher resonance against the backdrop of  Mahatma Gandhi’s life prinicple – “My life is my message” that included  spreading  the wisdom of his core values of truth, non-violence and unity. From being a powerful force which moved our nation to march towards freedom with self- belief and courage, to being a visionary that introduced the world to the timeless principles of truth and nonviolence. His life and message were a guiding light to many, including world leaders like Nelson Mandela and Martin Luther King.

“Bharat Bhagya Vidhata” will be screened at 6:30 pm Wednesday, July 24th& Thursday, July 25th, 2019 at Chowdiah Memorial Hall. Donor passes are being issued through bookmyshow.com at Rs 250/- Rs 500/- Rs 750/- 1500/- 1750/- 2000/- & 2500/- each. All monies are donated fully to the C Krishniah Chetty Foundation for their charity activities.

Dr C. Vinod Hayagriv, Managing Trustee C Krishniah Chetty Foundation said, “The play resonates with business principles of the C Krishniah Chetty Group. These performances present viewers a peek into the life of Gandhi as a Mahatma, and experience his inner conscience through a series of events. In the middle of any situation that Gandhiji was faced with, he displayed profound maturity and wisdom. Which coincidentally we at C.Krishniah Chetty have practiced as an organisational culture over 15 decades. Each rupee we raise thru donor passes will go to the Foundation to support healthcare & education for the underprivileged.”

The play has been conceptualised and presented by Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur under the guidance of Pujya Gurudevshri Rakeshbhai, with in-depth research for scripting by the Mission. This play has been directed by the acclaimed director Shri Rajesh Joshi of the ‘Code Mantra’ fame, who also won the ‘Best Director’ title for ‘Yugpurush-Mahatma’s Mahatma’ at the Transmedia Gujarati Screen and Stage Awards. Written by acclaimed writer, Shri Prakash Kapadia who has written for movies like Black, Bajirao Mastani, and Padmavat among others, the play has been completely orchestrated by Shri Dharmesh Mehta.
